On Saturday, June 1st, Nakayoshi Young Professionals volunteered at the Soy & Tofu Festival in SF’s Japantown.  We were fortunate to have gorgeous weather again while out volunteering at the “Nakayoshi Cafe” booth in the Peace Plaza.  The amazing group of volunteers in the kitchen were very efficient at preparing and cooking all of the food on the menu and the group of volunteers in the booth demonstrated top professionalism with selling and serving the Mabo dofu plates and the tofu sushi rolls.  Each of our volunteers who helped run the “Nakayoshi Cafe” worked hard and did such a terrific job working together as a team that we ended up breaking our record for most profit made to be donated to the NichiBei Foundation at a Soy & Tofu Festival ever!
