This is Nakayoshi’s first hike to Purisima Creek just off the west side of the Santa Cruz mountains. The hike started around 10:30 am on Saturday April 25th with a cold calm off shore breeze tingled our spines. The three hour hike was a steady climb with both wide and single file trails.

Nakayoshi’s Cooking Class, the first in our Tabemasho Cooking Series. This particular class focused on sushi making, teaching the recipe to prepare sushi rice and both traditional and modern techniques to roll sushi.
